The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is the primary donor of Empowered and one of the most significant supporters of international development and social inclusion projects worldwide. Through Engagement Global and bengo, BMZ finances innovative and impactful projects that address social, economic, and human rights challenges in low- and middle-income countries.

BMZ’s Commitment to Inclusion and Development

BMZ has a strong commitment to promoting equal opportunities and ensuring that marginalized groups, including PwDs, have access to education, employment, and public services. Through its work, BMZ supports:

  • Improved social protection systems for marginalized communities
